Here, I have listed some of the greatest sportsmen and their quotes. They were not only playing the sports but also motivating millions of others at the same time.

  1. Emil Zápotek

    Emil Zátopek, a long distance runner from Czechoslovakia, won three Gold medals in the 5000 meters, 10000 meters, and Marathon at the Olympic Games in 1952 in Helsinki. He also won a Gold Medal and a Silver medal in 10000 meters and 5000 meters at the Olympic Games in London in 1948. Also with other major accolades, he holds the record for winning gold medals on all these distances in single Olympics. He was very influential figure and still serves as the motivation to millions of people who are quitting because of their failure. His dedication and diligence are still to be praised.

Ali defeated every top heavyweight of his era. Ali was also presented Presidential Citizens Medal by President Bill Clinton and Presidential Medal of Freedom by President George W. Bush. He opened $60 million non-profit Muhammad Ali Center in Louisville. He was the Greatest fighter of the Golden era of Boxing.

He is the inspiration and motivation to millions of people all around the globe. His life is the epitome of success.

With 1281 career goals, a Guinness World Record, Pelé stands as the greatest footballer and the most influential figure in the footballing world. Pelé is also a humanitarian.

Not only he is a  great player but also a great person.
